The PageMentor solution is a design focussed database driven publishing system. It bridges the gap between the data a company holds on all its products and services and the publication it produces.

This data often comes from a sales database which then has to be collated with marketing information and images of the product. In other instances it might have to be recovered from a pervious edition of a catalogue (perhaps from PDF files). In the most extreme cases this data will be have to be created from scratch, leveraging of the knowledge key staff within a company. This can be an extremely time consuming process especially when it's repeated for every publication.

SMR can assist this critical task by helping you plan the data structure and even populating it with product information. PageMentor also creates live links to this data - this can be via the PageMentor database or using standard Excel files. The key point is that the data can be accessed, amended and controlled by the client allowing time savings throughout the project but perhaps more importantly the data is available in an up-to-date form, for future projects. No need to start again.
